The NSW Waratahs have granted Dylan Pietsch an immediate release from the remainder of his contract to allow him to take up an opportunity at another Australian club.

The 26-year-old winger made 38 Super Rugby Pacific appearances for the Waratahs over the last three seasons, culminating in his Test debut for the Wallabies earlier this year.

“Dylan has been not only a great player but also an outstanding role model and ambassador during his time with the Waratahs,” NSW Waratahs CEO Paul Doorn said.

“It is with deep respect for Dylan and the significant contribution he has made to our club, on and off the field, that we grant his request for a release.

“We understand the opportunity presented to him by another club is an appealing one for him and his family and we wish them all the best for the future.”
