Off the back of the Waratah U16’s convincing win against the Queensland Reds on Sunday, the Tahs will look to continue their momentum into this Saturdays Round 4 clash.

Sunday was a huge day of travel for the young side as they made the journey to Queensland and back in one long day. As it was the team’s first time travelling together there was huge excitement and positive energy returning back after their 30-point demolition of archrivals the Queensland Reds.

The team wasted no time getting back into training on Tuesday afternoon, with another training session scheduled for Thursday. With games in back-to-back weeks, recovery and effective training are crucial for maintaining their successful performance. The team are keeping their focus as they approach the back half the tournament, ensuring they sustain their energy. Having won the tournament for the past two years, the current under-16 side has clear the goal set by their coaches, to emulate previous U16 teams and notch up the U16 ‘threepeat’.

Darcey Feltham's impressive double try in last week’s clash and a hat trick during Round 1, means he will certainly be a player to watch this week. His speed, agility and ability to read the game places him in prime positions to convert pressure in to points.

The Tahs will have the home ground advantage this week as they welcome friends, family, and the wider NSW community to cheer them on during their Round 4 fixture against the ACT Brumbies this Saturday. The match will take place at the iconic Pittwater Rugby Club, nestled in Sydney’s beautiful northern beaches. With the support of their local fans, the team is eager to showcase their skills and hope to continue their winning momentum for their last home game of the tournament.
