NSW Waratahs hooker Julian Heaven has decided to pursue his professional rugby career in the United Kingdom after the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Heaven has earned four caps starting for the NSW Waratahs and four off the bench. He earned his first cap in Round 2 of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific competition against the Crusaders.

Acting General Manager, Andrew Cleverley, said that the NSW Waratahs had offered a two-year contract extension beyond 2025.

“We had discussions with Julian and his management, and we attempted to retain him,” Cleverley said.

“We are looking forward to Julian focussing on and enjoying a successful 2025 season.”
