Fast and Fearless: NSW Waratahs U15s Ready to Take on the Queensland Reds After Last Week’s Victory
In the scorching 32-degree heat, the NSW U15 Waratah Academy secured a hard-fought round 1, defeating the Reds, with a score of 27-19. The team credited their success to a week of intense preparation and unwavering focus as they travelled up the coast for this pivotal clash.
Sunday was a significant day for the young squad as they made the journey back to Sydney the same afternoon. However, the knowledge that they had won their first game gave the team courage and energy, motivating them to dive right back into training the following day.
With just a six day turn around between games, the coaches and support staff made sure to manage the players working load and training between the fixtures whilst still ensuring they will be at peak performance for the game this weekend.
This weekend the NSW U15 Waratah Academy will have the home ground advantage with the match being played at the iconic Southern District Rugby Club. This will give the young players the opportunity to play at a representative level in front of their friends, family and wider NSW supporter base.
As the team aims to finish the mini season strong with back-to-back wins against the Queensland Reds, fans can expect a thrilling match filled with fast-paced, high-energy rugby. The players are eager to showcase their skills and teamwork, promising an exhilarating display of athleticism and strategy that will great to spectate.
