The NSW Waratahs are so grateful for the support of their fans in their on-the-bell win against the Highlanders in round one of Super Rugby Pacific last Friday night.

They are now offering fans a chance to meet them in person on Sunday after training for Round 3 against the Fijian Drua at Allianz Stadium next Friday.

The 'meet and greet' event will be held on Sunday at the NSW Waratahs training base at Daceyville in Sydney from 3 pm to 4 pm.

Fans will get the opportunity to not only meet the players but to grab a photo with them or their autograph; maybe even to pass and kick a football with them.

It will also mark the perfect way for the NSW Waratahs to thank their fans whose support had a huge impact, team captain and halfback Jake Gordon said.

“It was great to see and hear them all out there at Allianz Stadium,” Gordon said.

“The support and cheer lifted us all for our season opener against the Highlanders.

“We’re training hard for our next game, Round 3 against the Fijian Drua at home next Friday (28 February) and want to deliver a performance they’ll be proud of.

“Meantime, if you are one of our fans, come on down to our base at Daceyville on Sunday after training. We’d love to see you and say thanks to you all in person.

"What better way to kick off game week!"

“Let’s kick off game week together!”
