The NSW Waratahs are thrilled to announce that health and fitness leaders Viva Leisure have come on board as a Platinum Partner with the agreement to kick-off as early as Saturday night when the side plays the British & Irish Lions at Allianz Stadium in Sydney.
From Saturday night to the end of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season, Viva Leisure will adorn the back-right of the shorts of every NSW Waratahs player.
Viva Leisure’s aim is to make health and fitness accessible to as many people as possible. The company sets out to achieve this by offering affordable, high-quality facilities that are designed to inspire and cater to a wide range of fitness preferences.
Viva Leisure is the second-largest fitness network in Australia and is the only listed health club business on the ASX.
The company operates almost five hundred locations across Australia, New Zealand, and India with six hundred thousand-plus members.
Viva Leisure began in 2004 with one location and was listed in 2019 with twenty-nine, evolving from a traditional gym operator into a vertically integrated fitness technology platform.
Today, Viva Leisure’s portfolio includes the following brands: Club Lime, Plus Fitness, hiit republic, GROUNDUP, Rebalance and World Gym.
Viva Leisure Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Harry Konstantinou believes this Partnership with the NSW Waratahs will boost on and off field awareness.
“We are proud to confirm Viva Leisure as a Platinum Partner of the NSW Waratahs, a partnership that enhances our long-standing commitment to Rugby from grassroots to the elite-level, across Australia,” Konstantinou said.
“This comes at an exciting time as we recently unveiled our refreshed corporate brand along with The Viva Story.
“Being featured on the NSW Waratahs' playing kit is not just a branding opportunity.
"It’s a statement of shared values around teamwork and community, principles that closely align with our mission to make health and wellness accessible to every Australian through our diverse and growing range of fitness and wellness products to shape the future of fitness for everybody and every goal.”
NSW Waratahs Chairman, Tony Crawford said having Viva Leisure as a Partner was a valued show of faith in the NSW Waratahs, and that both parties share common values.
“It’s terrific to have Viva Leisure on board with us, and in time for Saturday’s blockbuster game against the British & Irish Lions,” said Crawford.
“But more importantly, this Partnership is a reflection of the values that both organisations stand by, and their shared pursuit of excellence and growth.”
