Pia Tapsell

An elbow injury cut short Tapsell’s maiden Super W season with the Force but the six-cap Black Ferns’ loose forward is back and fully fit. Tapsell is a player of major pedigree, having burst on to the international scene in 2019 when she debuted for New Zealand, nearly winning their Rookie of the Year award. She’s known for her strong carries and aggressive defence. She plays for Chiefs Manawa in New Zealand’s Super Rugby Aupiki and the Cronulla Sharks in the NRLW. She’s had a few injury troubles, missing all of 2023 after ACL surgery.
