Leafi Talataina was another signing from the Melbourne Rebels following the 2024 Super Rugby season. The bulldozing backrower was a star among a talented Australia U20s squad in 2023 and was destined to be as impactful in the side in 2024, were it not for injuries.
The Melbourne-born back-rower made his debut for the Waratahs in 2025 off the bench against the Western Force in Round 4.
