Spent three years in the NSW system representing the NSW Waratahs Academy in the U15, U16, and U18 age levels. The Academy graduate crafted his skills at Sydney’s St Ignatius College. In 2023, he was also in the Australian Under 20s and debuted for the Waratahs. In 2024, made starting debut for the Waratahs in their final game of the season against the Reds. A member of Eastern Suburbs, he also steered the club to their Shute Shield title win in 2024. Son of former Wallaby Scott Bowen, also a five eighth in his day.
