Fly-half Jack Bowen spent three years in the NSW system representing the NSW Waratahs Academy at under-15, 16, and 18 age-group levels. Bowen crafted his skills at Sydney’s St Ignatius College. In 2023, he was also in the Australian Under 20s and debuted for the Waratahs in Super Rugby against the Blues in Auckland in Round 9 off the bench.
In 2024, the Academy graduate made his starting debut for the Waratahs in their final game of the season against the Reds. A member of Eastern Suburbs, he also steered the club to their Shute Shield title win in 2024, starring alongside fellow Waratah and childhood friend Teddy Wilson in the halves.
He is the son of former Wallaby Scott Bowen, who also played in the same position at number 10.
