Ethan Dobbins is a Brisbane-born hooker who was a member of the Wests Club in his youth, a famous rugby breeding ground that has produced the likes of Wallabies’ Berrick Barnes, Filipo Daugunu and Hunter Paisami. Dobbins’ rugby days began at St Joseph’s College in Gregory Terrace, Spring Hill.
He is a hard-working and skilled hooker who arrived at the Waratahs from the Melbourne Rebels ahead of the 2025 season, making his club debut against the Hurricanes in Round 7.
Dobbins started all four of our Super Rugby AUS matches during the successful 2025 campaign, scoring a try in the third group match, a 42-34 win over the Brumbies at Viking Park.
