Pure power, relentless work ethic and impossible to stop once she gets moving! Chioma Enyi brings serious force to the Brumbies backline.
Better known simply as “Chi,” the Canberra product has built her game around strength, explosiveness and effort. Playing her club rugby with the West Lioness’, Enyi first picked up the sport at 16 after competing in netball and track and field, bringing natural athleticism and physicality into rugby from day one.
Whether it’s punching through contact, dominating tackles or carrying defenders with her, Chi thrives in the toughest parts of the game. Her intensity and physical presence make her a constant handful for opposition teams, while her commitment behind the scenes reflects the hard work that’s shaped her rise through the ranks.
She made her Brumbies debut in March 2024 against the Waratahs at Allianz Stadium, earning cap number 93 and continuing to establish herself as a powerful weapon in the squad. Away from rugby, Chi balances elite sport with work in retail while also showing a more creative side, doing her own nails and collecting ‘Hot Wheels’ cars.
While many athletes look outward for inspiration, Chi keeps it simple: she only aspires to be herself. Her perfect rest day includes sleeping in, baking banana bread and playing video games, while her biggest dream remains representing her country at a Rugby World Cup.
Heading into the 2026 season, Enyi shapes as one of the Brumbies’ most powerful attacking threats; explosive, uncompromising and ready to make every carry count.
