Annabelle Codey

Annabelle Codey (Waratah #201) joined the Waratahs ahead of the 2024 Super Rugby Women's season after previously playing for the Queensland Red.

Codey started her career through touch rugby at the age of 18 and her rapid rise led her to captain the local team Eastern Suburbs side in Brisbane.

Codey then quickly advanced to join the Reds squad, reaching a pinnacle with her international debut for the Wallaroos against New Zealand in 2022.

In 2023 Codey signed with the Loughborough Lightning in the UK. She had a brief stint there before returning to the Reds, followed by the Tahs last year, where she played five games.

Codey's father is former Queensland and Wallabies backrower David Codey.
