Amelia Whitaker (Waratah #209) is a rising outside back from Sydney who is building a handy resume of junior rugby achievements ahead of an eventual debut in the Super Rugby Women's competition.

Whitaker has been a key player in multiple representative teams at state level with her performance in Rugby Sevens earning her a place in the NSW U18's Sevens team, which won at the Australian Schools Championships.

She was chosen for the Australian Under 18s side which came runners-up at the Global Youth Tournament in 2024, where she was named in the team of the tournament.

Whitaker transitioned to XVs rugby in 2025, making her Super Rugby Women's debut against the Drua at Allianz Stadium.

The Randwick junior went on to play four matches and will look to build on that figure in 2026.

Whitaker was selected for the Wallaroos national squad and is also eyeing a Test debut in the future.
