The NSW Waratahs have named their Waratahs A team to face the Warringah Rats and the Manly Marlins in the club’s final trial on Saturday at Rat Park, Warringah.

In a wonderful day for community rugby, the Waratahs A team will go head-to-head with the Rats in the first half, followed by the Marlins in the second stanza.

Non-playing Waratahs will be on hand during the day to engage with fans and assist at registration tents for the local junior rugby clubs from both areas.

Whilst the trial is a great opportunity for several young and inexperienced players to push for selection in Round 1 against the Reds next week, it will also see the return of star fullback Max Jorgensen.

In a portrayal of the maturity that belies his age, Teddy Wilson will captain the side in the absence of Jake Gordon, David Porecki, and Hugh Sinclair.
