The NSW Waratahs are delighted to announce the signing of outside back George Poolman on a deal until the end of 2027.

The 23-year-old is returning home to Sydney from Perth, having made 31 Super Rugby Pacific appearances for the Western Force across the last three seasons.

Earlier this month Poolman was named in the Super Rugby AUS Team of the Tournament after scoring two tries and playing a key role as the Force progressed to the inaugural Grand Final.

"We’re thrilled to have secured George’s services for next two seasons," NSW Waratahs coach Dan McKellar said.

"He performed well for the Force throughout the Super Rugby AUS competition and his spot in the Team of the Tournament was well deserved.

"George is a quality young man with his best rugby still ahead of him and we look forward to seeing what he can deliver in Waratahs colours."

Poolman’s return to Sydney continues a strong off-season of signings for the Waratahs, headlined by the recruitment of Wallabies Folau Fainga’a, Harry Potter, Pete Samu, Angus Blyth and Matt Philip.
