The NSW Waratahs are targeting an unbeaten run in the Round 4 of the ISPS Handa NextGen 7s series at Ballymore in Brisbane on Saturday to win the title outright.
The Waratahs have only lost one game throughout the series, that loss being their third of three games in Round 1 at Sunshine Coast Stadium in Queensland on 3 August.
Heading into Saturday’s final round at Ballymore as the series leaders, the Waratahs believe they can finish with a clean sweep of victories from their three games.

“It’s exciting. We have this opportunity to win them all and hopefully bring home the title,” NSW Waratahs GenNext 7s Head Coach Blake Cavallaro said.
Cavallaro has made only one change to the side that played in Round 3 in Canberra.
The one addition to the side is Anika McCarthy for Logan Lemusu who is unavailable.
Captaining the Waratahs will again be Tatum Bird who, according to Cavallaro, has made great development in her leadership as the series has progressed.
“Tatum has a good head on her shoulders. She has pulled the girls in when needed and has really helped them,” Cavallaro said.
Also returning to the side will be the two Australian team members who played in Round 3 two weeks ago and made a difference: Kiiahla Duff and Piper Simons.
“They were a great addition in the last round, but after those three or four games with us, I feel we will be even more connected as a group this Saturday,” Cavallaro said.
Cavallaro said improved connectivity had been the major take-out for the team from the series so far, and that the fruits of such progress should pay dividends on Saturday.
“As a group we have been very connected throughout the series,” Cavallaro said.
“We have had a lot of clarity of our roles and shape and structure of our game.
“It’s been quite remarkable, especially with the weather we have had … we have barely been on the field because of it but have done a lot of off-field work with our analysis.”
