Hundreds of players have represented the NSW Waratahs since Super Rugby was launched in 1996. Now, it’s your turn to vote for your favourite 15 in our Club Legends XV!

To celebrate 30 years of Super Rugby, the competition is inviting fans to take part in their Legends XV campaign.

Fans will have the opportunity to settle some intriguing debates and honour the greats of our game who have graced Super Rugby, allowing us to share nostalgic moments from the best club competition on the planet.

Waratahs fans can now have their say on their favourite players here. Upon voting, you will be automatically entered into a draw to win a 2026 signed Waratahs jersey and a match ball from our Round 1 clash against the Reds at Allianz Stadium on Friday 13 February.

There are no doubt some tough decisions to make as a Waratahs fan between players to have pulled on the famous, cambridge blue jersey. In the pack, how will you decide between Matt Dunning, Richard Harry and Benn Robinson at loosehead prop? Who makes it between Phil Waugh or Michael Hooper, or do you just try and squeeze both into the back-row?!

At scrum-half, would you prefer Chris Whitaker, Nick Phipps or Luke Burgess? While at full back, it’s an outrageously difficult call between Matt Burke, Israel Folau and Mat Rogers, three of the most creative and dynamic players to ever play the game.

We need your help to make these calls.

Once voting is complete, the player who wins each position at their club will progress to the second phase, which is the competition-wide vote that begins on Monday 9 February. The position winners from each Club Legends XV will go head-to-head, with fans voting to determine the greatest player in each position across the entire 30-year history of Super Rugby.

So, every vote matters.

Vote for your NSW Waratahs Legends XV now here! Voting closes on Sunday 8 February.

You will be automatically entered into a draw to win a 2026 signed Waratahs jersey and a match ball from our Round 1 clash against the Reds at Allianz Stadium on Friday 13 February.
